That's Adeline's World

I just can't believe Adeline is almost 19 months old. It is amazing to me how quickly time flies. Last summer she would sit on a blanket outside with her baseball bat in her hand. After I typed that I thought I should put in a picture. There it is; amazing isn't it.

So now, Adeline is enthralled with outside. We bought her a slide at a neighboring garage sale. She thinks it is the best toy ever. She calls it her "yellow" and stands at the window just to look at it. We go play on the yellow every day now.

She has also discovered outside water sources. Oh, the delight. I can't water my plants if she's outside or we get one wet little Adeline.

Our big milestones are really big this week. Adeline can go to sleep all by herself. She doesn't need anyone in the room with her. What bittersweet freedom this brings me. She also sleeps all night just about every night! This one is only sweet freedom!
She knows all her colors and counts to ten. She is fascinated that she has two hands! Yes, two! When Steve put his hand up and said "Three," it really rocked her world. She laughed a long time over that.

So, there she is, our little flower. What a sweet girl she is.
