We're So Busy

Even though Adeline and I don't really have any plans we are busy! We have a new daily routine. She wakes us up early (that's not new), and we play a bit. She has breakfast and by 8:10 she and I hit the road in the stroller. We both look forward to it. Sometimes we even stop at a park so she can play. This is really appreciated until we have to leave. Then she usually sheds a few tears and we wave good bye to the swing.

When we get back home, if it's not too hot, we will play outside until lunch. Then she eats, takes a nap and wakes up about an hour and a half later.

We spend the afternoon doing lots of silly things. Play Dough has been a big hit, as well as the sprinkler. Today, however, things changed. All toys pale in comparison to her new rocking horse. It whinnies when you push it's ear...she loves that! She combed his mane and tail, put a ribbon in it and fed it her toy grapes. Nothing says love like toy grapes.

Here are some new pictures! By the way, we're back to needing Mom in the room to fall asleep. You can pray that I grow to love this new development...It's a step back so that can be frustrating.

Sounds like a great routine.
Sleep-well things always change here too in that department.
Lets meet in September. 4/5 kids will be back in school. Mia and I will road trip it to see you and Adeline.
