July Update

What a doll we have! These pictures are from the 4th of July and our Forever Family Day. The first one is Adeline enjoying long noodles (for long life) at our favorite Chinese buffet. The waitress was quite intrigued as Adeline and I walked in. She looked at Adeline, she looked at me, and then she said, "She looks Asian." I told her that Adeline was indeed Chinese and adopted with much love. We got a lot of attention at our table that night as Adeline was oohed and awwwed over quite a bit.

The other pictures are from 4th of July. We stayed home most of the day, except for a quick trip to the outlet mall and Target. We just played outside all day. As you can see, Adeline discovered our flag. She is not being unpatriotic, she is actually playing Peek-A-Boo with the flag. This is a new stage of giving lifelike qualities to inanimate objects. Like today, for example, she scolded her eggs for being on the table and not in her bowl. "Naughty eggs," she said and laughed like crazy.

Adeline loves to give kisses. She kisses her stuffed animals, Pooh (of course), and once in a while Mom and Dad. Here's such a cute one.

Lastly, she's quite impressed with my flower garden. Heaven only knows why, as the weeds keep growing! Anyway, she loves to pick my daisies. Guess I have to plant a few more to keep up with her.
