Difficult Transitions

Oh, my darling girl. She is having a tough time transitioning to a new season. Here are a few examples:

• Upon waking from her nap the other day, she looked at her legs and said, "Hey, have shorts! That means it's spring!"


• Looking at a picture of Barney playing in the snow, "Barney needs some boots on!"


• Using sidewalk chalk in the driveway, she insisted that I draw a snowman. Then she bent down to touch his hands (with her bum in the air) and proceeded to sing "Frosty the Snowman.:


• Did I mention we still watch Frosty on occasion?


• Lastly, the Cheetah. Her coat has a name and she is really struggling with not wearing it every day...even if it's 70 degrees.
