Many of you know that Adeline lives in imagination. Every day we act out another boo (or 15). She is constantly reminding me of what character I must be in (at that particular moment). And quite often, she is the director giving me lines. "Mom, say, 'Good dog, Mudge.'" All of these can happen several times within the time span of 5 minutes. Anyway, all that to explain these pictures.
A few weeks ago we went to the zoo and Adeline spied a carousel. She's seen one in a favorite DVD so this was quite a treat. As we were leaving the zoo, she needed one more look. So we were happy to oblige. Unfortunately, as soon as we got there, the wind picked up and the tornado sirens began to blare. Oh, now I've gone off on another tangent. Long story short, we got in the car and went home in the opposite direction of the storm.
So, now let me get to the photos. Adeline found her Sit 'N Spin, put animals all around it, turned on the music and had her own, state of the art carousel. She's so creative. I'm so proud!
