The Nutcracker in the Castle

The Christmas spirit is in full swing over here, even though we've been under the weather all month.  Adeline has not let her sinus infection get her down!  We've been counting down the days, making cookies, crafting and shopping.  Oh, and reading stories, singing songs, and acting out various holiday scenarios.

A few weeks ago we went to our local art museum and celebrated by doing a guided tour of the castle as it is decked out in Nutcracker Suite fashion.  We could only take pictures in the Great Hall, the scene of the Christmas party where Clara gets her Nutcracker.  It was done fabulously and the girls loved it.  It was Ruby's first time and she did very well.  Although, she was nervous when the ballerinas got too close.  We were in the front row.
