Such Fun

Adeline is such fun! Every day she makes us laugh. She can do so many tricks! Here she is playing in her learning chair. She really likes to click the lamp to different colors. Sometimes she puts snacks on the table to enjoy later.

Anyway, tricks, yes, let's see. She can say "good girl" now and does it with a luminous smile. We're working on drinking out of a cup and she wants us to praise her with a "good girl" before she takes a drink. Hey, whatever works...

Here's another one. After taking a long swig of juice she will smack her lips and say, "Ahhh" with great gusto.

Colors...She likes her shape sorter toys. Yesterday she picked one up and I said, "That's yellow." She proceeded to get her book of colors so I asked her if there was yellow in her book. Wouldn't you know it, but she opened the book to the yellow sunflower and banana. I was truly amazed.

One of my personal favorites though happens during bath time. We'll tell her that we need to wash her toes, so she will oblige by lifting one little foot out of the water at a time. Usually, though, we have to wash the same toes over and over. We really don't mind.

There's your update. She is doing so well. We are so blessed.
