We're Still Learning

We are definitely still learning about each other. Adeline is learning to trust us completely and she loves when we take care of her. We are still learning how to understand what she is telling us. We've come a long way.

When she points at the windowsill in her bedroom, it means she wants a bottle. (That's where I set them when we are done with one.)

When she rubs her eyes and yawns, it means she's tired. (Go figure!)

When she gets really silly, it means that the eye rubs and yawns are coming.

When she looks at her crib, it does not necessarily mean that she wants to go in it.

When she scratches the side of her crib, it means she's done napping and wants to come out soon.

There is so much more. Every day we learn more about her personality and we love her even more. She is the greatest treasure we've ever been entrusted. What a bundle of joy!
