Today, we started some sense of “normalcy” by going to church for the first time with Adeline (and our first time since we left for China on June 28).
She wore a dress Grandma got her--as usual, she looked very pretty!
It was nice to see a lot of our friends today. This was the first time many have met Adeline!
Adeline was sweet and charming...but she was also very tired because the church service was at her morning nap time. She wanted to play with her crinkle book during the church service, so we went into the cry room for the rest of the service. Next time we will remember a quieter toy (we are still learning!).
We recently discovered Adeline likes baseball. Needless to say, that is a very good thing in this house.
Maybe next year we will take her to her first Brewers game.
As each day goes by, we learn more about Adeline and just love her more and more. She is such a joy to be with!
